Should you not find a specific image of Cleveland or one from any of our communities that you desire, custom photography services are also available as needed at $80 per hour plus travel or at a flat fee of $500 plus expenses for an 8 hour day shooting between 150-250 hi-res/5.0+mp digital photos. For the quickest turnaround, please provide as many details about the photos needed as possible like:
After agreeing on licensing terms and fees which are usually an $80 flat-rate for your use of up to 5 pictures on 1 project or 1 web-site ONLY, the photo(s) can then be downloaded or used directly from PlacesInTown.com or a higher resolution photo(s) can be provided if available. (Nearly all photos are available in much higher resolutions!) Please also understand again that we have spent and continue to spend many thousands of dollars taking the photos you see here. As such, violations on non-licensed or non-agreed upon photo usage will be prosecuted with damages charged at double the normal photo usage fees listed herein plus court costs and attorney fees as well. For those doing it the right way and getting our permission to use photos, if you prefer, photos can be sent to you on a CD plus shipping costs. If shipped, we’ll let you know the approximate turnaround time, but it’s usually the next business day (depending on the image(s) requested). In addition to the photo use/license fee, an acknowledgment and copyright statement MUST also be included near the photo(s) used or within the publication/production/web-site as reasonably appropriate:
“Photo has been provided by and is Copyrighted (c) by PlacesInTown.com”.
Corporate Site Sponsors Use
As an added bonus for our Corporate Site Sponsors, unlimited use of our photography library is provided at no extra charge. This includes the use/delivery of all required hi-res images as needed. Please follow the rest of our Photo Use Agreement instructions but no payment will be due for any and all photo(s) used.
Nonprofit Use
Prior approved non-profit organizations, educators, and students ONLY are welcome to use pictures from PlacesInTown.com at no charge (as is at 72 DPI) provided: you don’t modify the pictures without our permission (you can re-size them as necessary); you don’t make any money off of them (and no other associated business makes any money off them as well either directly or indirectly); and you include an acknowledgment and copyright statement: “Photo has been provided by and is Copyrighted (c) by PlacesInTown.com”.
In addition, nonprofit organizations who want to use one of these images on your nonprofit web site may only do so if you either include a return link to http://placesintown.com and/or display the above copyright statement.
